You Have:

• Lead the design and development of data architectures, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Architect and oversee the implementation of sophisticated data ingestion pipelines utilizing Azure Data Factory, Event Hubs, and third-party tools like Apache Kafka to handle diverse data streams efficiently.
• Drive the design and deployment of enterprise-scale data storage systems, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Blob Storage, and various database solutions (both relational and NoSQL).
• Spearhead the development of robust solutions for batch, stream, and real-time data processing using Azure Stream Analytics, Kafka Streams, or similar technologies.
• Create and standardize reusable architecture patterns for data integration, data modeling, and lifecycle management to ensure consistency across projects.
• Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive data management frameworks focusing on data quality, master data management (MDM), and data lineage.
• Design and enforce governance frameworks to meet regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA,CCPA), ensuring data privacy, security, and compliance.
• Collaborate with data science teams to integrate machine learning models and advanced analytics into data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Azure Machine Learning.
• Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to data engineering teams, fostering best practices in pipeline development, data architecture, and system design.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements, identifying opportunities for data-driven insights.
• Continuously research and adopt emerging data technologies, cloud-native tools, and opensource innovations to maintain competitive advantage.
• Design and deploy hybrid data solutions that seamlessly integrate on-premises systems with cloud platforms, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and incident response frameworks to ensure data pipeline and storage system integrity.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of third-party data tools, aligning recommendations with organizational objectives and strategic goals.
• Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and other data governance artifacts.
• Implement data integration and ETL processes to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Oversee the deployment and maintenance of data platforms and infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and support to data analysts and scientists.
• Take full accountability for a data architecture solution

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a big data architect.
• Strong command of data architecture principles, best practices and architecture patterns.
• Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration techniques.
• Proficiency in data platform underlying technologies.
• Leadership on big data solutions and frameworks on cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
