QA Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated tests using frameworks like Cypress, or Playwright.
• Develop and execute both manual and automated scripts for functional and performance testing.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure alignment on test requirements and deliverables.
• Troubleshoot, document, and resolve technical issues using tools like Jira.
• Analyse system specifications and execute regression testing.
• Conduct REST API and infrastructure testing, validating seamless integrations.
• Create detailed test plans, scenarios, and data to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Monitor and analyse logs from servers to identify potential system issues.
• Prepare defect reports and manage them in GitLab/GitHub.

Skills and Experience Required

• 5 years of QA Automation Testing experience on cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and QA best practices.
• Familiarity with infrastructure testing and debugging tools.
• Analytical thinking with exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with browser testing and cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with Jenkins or Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Knowledge of app and web application testing processes.
